Well......

I'm not surprised. The writing has majorly plumetted during S2 with
ongoing desperate and unbelievable story developments intended to lure
(or hold) viewers via sex, violence or gratuitous guest stars (Sharon
Stone).

The show is an unfortunate failure thanks to sloppy writers who had an
outstanding cast and characters, and didn't know what to do with them.

The writing did suffer this second season, but the characters had become real
in the first, so it still worked. More than that, flashes of brilliance - both
in the acting *and* the writing - helped sustain Huff's quality this season.

Huff wasn't a failure. It was an excellent show that got a little insecure and
a little reckless - was probably meddled-with - and now it's cancelled.

Where could the show have gone anyway? Huff never got the numbers and that's
what counts; you can't blame them for including easier, louder and less
textured storylines as part of a wider net. They still managed to keep the
quality high despite the pandering, and that's no mean feat.

Hats off to Huff!

I'll miss it. Nex

I'll miss what the show might have been, but not what it had become
during S2.

So that is how they are going to leave it hanging?

Ever notice how similar Russ and Kelly are in the way they react? Krussell
would double it. Watch out!

The victims in that scenario are undobtedly Russell and Kelly, with Krussell
wearing the triumphant smirk. Nex
